Picture of JB Priestley Statue, Bradford.
This statue of J B Priestley (1894-1984) stands outside the National Media Museum in Bradford city centre.
I photographed this statue of one of the most famous sons of the city of Bradford on a cold and snowy day. Priestley stands on a stone plinth and looks out across to city hall. This larger than life statue in bronze by sculptor Ian Judd was commissioned by Bradford City Council after the writers death. This statue was unveiled by the writers widow Jacquetta Hawkes in 1986.

Glad to see you're bringing Bradford into the spotlight Paul - it needs and deserves it. Slightly surprised to see you have chosen a blog design so close to mine at Saltaire Daily Photo though!
